Replacement Instructions

TROPICAL ICE BOXES — LOOP, BUTTON & HANDLE REPLACEMENT

1. Remove the round insert located at the top of the loop or centre of the button.
2. Using a 1/8" drill bit, carefully drill off the head of the rivet.
3. ⚠️ Do not drill into the ice box — only remove the rivet head.
4. Once the head is removed, push the remaining piece into the box.
5. Do not attempt to pull it out.

⚠️ CRITICAL INSTALLATION TIP (READ THIS FIRST)

If your rivet gun head is too large to fit inside the loop hole:

• Place a small nut over the rivet shaft so it sits flush against the outside of the loop
• This allows the rivet gun to sit correctly and apply even pressure

👉 Failure to do this can cause damage to the ice box and the parts.
