Replacement Instructions
TROPICAL ICE BOXES — LOOP, BUTTON & HANDLE REPLACEMENT
- Remove the round insert located at the top of the loop or centre of the button.
- Using a 1/8" drill bit, carefully drill off the head of the rivet.
- ⚠️ Do not drill into the ice box — only remove the rivet head.
- Once the head is removed, push the remaining piece into the box.
- Do not attempt to pull it out.
Rivet Gun Tip
If your rivet gun head is too large to fit inside the loop hole:
- Place a small nut over the rivet shaft so it sits flush with the outside of the loop.
- This will allow your riveter to secure the fitting properly.
